If you were with me last week, I did a short little tutorial on getting rid of those pencil marks in your handwoven basket. Today I have another tutorial for you, but I did it in a little bit different format. I've created a page in the menu bar for basket weaving tutorials. Each graphic on that page will take you to a PDF file. From there you can save them to your computer or even print them out to put in a binder and save for future reference.
Since I find myself working quite often with people new to basket weaving, I wanted to be able to have some of these things available to them. Now when they leave class, they can go back and review. Printing costs are high, so rather than longer handouts, I can add some extra details on the blog and we all save on both money and resources.
Today's tutorial is on weaving the locking row, and here's a little hint. Our free pattern for August uses this technique. You'll want to take a look! We will have that new pattern up on the website in the next couple of days. In the meantime you have a little more time to enjoy the July pattern.
Take care and we'll see you soon!
